Trying American....Again..... logo 5/10/2015 scott_in_pa

My last new Detroiter was an'08 Buick Enclave. A great car until the SECOND transmission went out at 156k, so on to the Germans for me. Tiring of $1000 repair bills every visit, I rolled the dice on a 2015 200S with every option sans LED lights and adaptive cruise. We'll be piling on the highway miles over the next 3 years, so the claimed 29mpg for an AWD vehicle sold me. The only other AWD sedan that came close was the Subaru Legacy, larger interior, more safety features, but it was an absolute dog on the highway. Got 18% off sticker and the ext warr for half price: made them throw in the True Coat (see: Fargo, the movie).

Favorite Feature : Seats and dashboard. Incredibly supportive and comfortable seats rival the wife's Volvo XC60 seats. Expertly executed dash. the UConnect is easy to figure out, easy to use at speed, and customizable to your liking. Some of the customizations are redundant but the overall execution is a easy-to-read package that gives you instant information (and LOTs of it). How many vehicles let you scroll through coolant, oil & transmission temperatures? Who even offers those on gauges anymore? The controls just fall into place. I'm still getting used to the rotary transmission selector. Paddle shifters are actually useful as the tranny needs direction when you want to get down to business. Great Sunroof.

Suggested Improvement : Bi-Xenon's would be nice. I'll do running updates of the car like I did for my 2008 Enclave (look for Tinyelviss)
