AAA: Risky driving behaviors increase across Maryland
Two tanker explosions weeks apart and the death of six construction workers on the Baltimore Beltway have renewed focus on traffic safety. According to the National Safety Council, Wednesday's crash on the Beltway was reportedly due to speeding. According to their data, more than 100 people die in a car crash every day on average in the United States. AAA Mid-Atlantic spokeswoman Ragina Ali told 11 News that bad driving habits started in 2020, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
