Jaguar has upped the warranty for the updated 2016 F-Type coupe and convertible from a 4-year/50,000-mile warranty to a 5-year/60,000-mile warranty. The new coverage includes a bumper-to-bumper limited warranty, complimentary scheduled maintenance, and 24/7 roadside assistance. Additionally, the automaker includes the new Jaguar InControl Connected Car app service for 5 years and unlimited miles.

Pricing for the updated 2016 Jaguar F-Type lineup has also been revealed with the base V-6 coupe manual starting at $65,995 (including $995 destination), while the new all-wheel-drive R convertible starts at $107,445. Jaguar added lots of standard equipment to the F-Type coupe and convertible for the 2016 model year.

The six-speed manual is new for all V-6 models for 2016, while the available eight-speed QuickShift automatic carries over.

Pricing for the sportier 2016 Jaguar F-Type S Coupe Manual starts at $78,295 and the automatic costs $79,795. Opting for all-wheel drive on the automatic F-Type S Coupe will set you back $85,795 before options. Convertible F-Type S models start at $81,395 with the manual and $82,895 with the automatic, while the all-wheel-drive convertible with automatic is priced at $88,895.

Like the base model, the F-Type S is powered by a supercharged 3.0-liter V-6, but tuned to 380 hp and 339 lb-ft. The new six-speed is available on the F-Type S, while the new all-wheel-drive system is only available with the optional eight-speed auto.

Priced at $104,595, the 2016 Jaguar F-Type R Coupe now comes with standard all-wheel drive. The eight-speed automatic remains the sole transmission option. New for 2016 is the Jaguar F-Type R Convertible, which replaces the 495-hp F-Type V8 S convertible in the lineup. Starting at $107,445, the new R Convertible is powered by the R Coupe’s 550-hp, 502-lb-ft 5.0-liter supercharged V-8 mated to the eight-speed auto and new all-wheel-drive system. Jaguar claims the R convertible accelerates to 60 mph in the same time as the R coupe, estimated at 3.9 seconds. We've found both the R coupe and the old V8 S convertible to be faster than that in our tests, however.
