Oregon Lawmakers Pass Bill To Protect Marijuana Consumers

On Monday, Oregon lawmakers sought to protect buyers of marijuana from possible penalties under federal law by approving a bill that bans marijuana retailers from keeping information on their customers. While over two dozen states have legalized some form of marijuana use, the drug remains illegal at a federal level, and President Donald Trump's administration has threatened to ramp up enforcement of laws prohibiting its use.
