Prince's Estate Sues To Block Release Of New Music

A federal judge has blocked the release of new music from the late musician Prince. Although one of the songs has already been released online, the remainder of a five-track EP is in legal limbo. Prince’s estate and Paisley Park Enterprises sued to block the release of music by George Ian Boxill, a sound engineer who worked with Prince on the EP in 2006. However, a suit stated Boxill entered into an agreement where Prince retained ownership of the music. U.S. District Judge Wilhelmina Wright granted a temporary restraining order to stop the full EP’s release
