Slain Pennsylvania Trooper's Mother Wants Killer Held Accountable

The mother of a slain state trooper holds no hate towards the killer of her son. However, Darla Dickson wants Eric Frein to be held accountable in a court of law for his actions. She was one of several friends and family members to speak during the penalty phase of the killer's trial. Frein shot and killed Cpl. Bryon Dickson II in September 2014. He ambushed Dickson and another trooper at a police barracks in Pennsylvania . After the shooting, Frein fled into the woods, spending 48 days on the run before US marshals captured him. Frein has already been convicted of first-degree murder, terrorism and other offenses.
