Debunking the week's tabloid stories: Aug. 30, 2019

Katie Holmes is speaking up to tell her side of the story of her relationships with Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx, according to OK! The actress, fresh off of a split from Foxx, is breaking her silence and finally opening up to her friends about her past, and she’s not afraid to omit any detail.

She’s prepared to “openly bash” Foxx on account of his supposed streak of infidelity. “It broke everyone’s heart to see her with a jerk like Jamie for so long,” says the magazine’s source. “They love that she’s finally sticking up for herself.”

Holmes is also ready to discuss her true feelings about ex-husband Tom Cruise, says the outlet. The actress will address his absence from the life of their daughter, Suri. She also plans to clarify how Cruise’s involvement in the Church of Scientology led to their divorce.

The entire story is made-up. The publication claims Holmes is speaking out to tell “her” story, but the article never gets a single word from Holmes or her spokesperson. Gossip Cop did reach out to Holmes’ rep, who tells us that on the record that OK!’s article is a complete fabrication.

This wouldn’t be the first time that the tabloid has published a phony article about Holmes and Foxx. We called out the magazine in May for wrongly reporting Holmes was pregnant with Foxx’s child.
