Lea Michele knows Cory Monteith 'would love' Matthew Paetz, plus more news

Wonderwall Logo By Wonderwall.com Editors of Wonderwall | Slide 1 of 10: It's been almost three years since Cory Monteith died, but "Glee" fans have been slow to accept that Cory's longtime girlfriend and co-star Lea Michele needs to move forward with her personal life. Speaking to the host of the Fempire podcast, she recently explained how finding love with Matthew Paetz has been a double-edged sword because of online backlash from fans, both hers and Cory's. "They're incredible and they were really a part of my whole story and my whole journey with me, so I do come from a place of understanding, but it's also really hard. You know, every time I post a picture, then it's just a landslide of comments that talk about my past and bring that up rather than projecting positivity," she said (via Celebitchy). Matthew, meanwhile, has been nothing but supportive. "We've stood by each other through anything that was thrown our way. He's such a great man that he would never really let anything like that ever crack our lovely little core that we've created," she said. "He is very respectful towards the person that I was with, and that, again, is something I love so much about him. I really know that Cory would love him too."
