Aug. 20, 1964: Shirley Bassey records ‘Goldfinger’

The legendary singer recorded “Goldfinger,” the title track for the James Bond movie, at London's CTS Studios. The single became one of her biggest hits and was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2008.
