Celebrities who have used surrogates to start a family

Surrogacy has become an increasingly popular option for celebrities looking to start or extend their families. Cristiano Ronaldo, Kim Kardashian, Sarah Jessica Parker, and many other celebrities have shown us that there are many ways to have children.

Paris Hilton is the most recent star to start her family with the help of a surrogate. The 41-year-old TV personality married venture capitalist Carter Reum in a lavish ceremony in 2021, and now, the couple have become parents to a baby boy. Hilton broke the news by sharing a heart-warming photo of a tiny hand gripping her thumb on Instagram on Jan. 25. "You are already loved beyond words," she wrote. She has been open about her desire to become a mother in the past and revealed that she had started IVF during the COVID-19 pandemic. "It's always been my dream to be a mother and I'm so happy that Carter and I found each other," the new mom told PEOPLE. "We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy." The baby's name as not yet been revealed.
