It's over for Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson nine months after they started dating, multiple outlets including E! News, People magazine and Page Six reported on Aug. 5. Sources close to the former couple told E!, which broke the news, that the reality TV star and the comedian -- who was shooting a movie in Australia in the weeks before the breakup -- decided in the first week of August to just be friends. Though Kim and Pete have "a lot of love and respect for each other," the long-distance nature of their relationship and their busy schedules "made it really difficult to maintain a relationship," sources told E! Page Six further reported that, according to a Kim insider, the breakup "had nothing to do with [her ex] Kanye [West]" and that "no event caused it."
