Slide 2 of 18: new caption

World's youngest professor

Alia Sabur’s off-the-charts IQ was apparent not long after her birth, when she learned to read in infancy. The New Yorker went on to receive a black belt in Tae Kwon Do at 9 and enter college by the time she was 10. It must have been only natural for her to accept a university position after that. Sabur, who is also a very talented clarinet player, was appointed to a full-time faculty position at Konkuk University in Seoul, South Korea, when she was just 18, making her the world’s youngest professor.
