Jay-Z to release 'Live in Brooklyn' EP


Jay-Z will be releasing an EP of his concert series at the Barclays Center, the rapper announced Saturday afternoon. The album, "Live in Brooklyn," will be available through iTunes on Tuesday, Oct. 9.

According to, the "optic EP" will include both audio and visual material recorded at the final concert of Jay-Z's eight-night run at the new Brooklyn stadium. The EP is currently available for pre-order on iTunes. While the track listing on the pre-order site is blank, it indicates that the album will include eight tracks and eight separate videos.

Word of the album comes just on the heels of the announcement that Jay-Z will be launching a new YouTube channel called Life + Times. While the channel will eventually feature a Brooklyn Nets series called "The Road to Brooklyn" and a fan-interaction show "Roc Nation Check-In," its first order of business will be a live-stream of Jay-Z's final Barclays concert.
