Justin Bieber responds to Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney's Grammy night insult

By Chris Gardner Slide 1 of 1

Justin Bieber may be rich, but he doesn't appreciate being reminded of his wealth -- especially by Grammy-winning rock stars. The Biebs took to Twitter on Tuesday morning to dis Patrick Carney, the Black Keys drummer who told TMZ on Sunday night that he doesn't feel bad for Justin, who was snubbed by the Recording Academy this year with zero Grammy nominations. (The Black Keys picked up three trophies Sunday night; frontman Dan Auerbach also won a Grammy for Producer of the Year)."He's rich, right?" Patrick asked the TMZ cameraman. "Grammys are for, like, music, not for money. And he's making a lot of money. He should be happy."Justin was anything but after hearing about Patrick's comments. "The black keys drummer should be slapped around haha," Justin tweeted. No word from Justin on who should do the slapping. (Random sidenote: Justin is 18; Patrick is 32).But it doesn't look like this Twitter feud will actually make it to the ring. Patrick followed Justin's tweet with a regretful post, of sorts. "It's cool when you get cornered outside your hotel by a guy with a camera and they ask you a dumb question and then put it on TV. :(" Patrick tweeted, only to follow it up with another sad emoticon adding, "Here we go again."And in true Beliebers fashion, hordes of Justin's 34 million Twitter followers kept the virtual lashes coming in Patrick's direction. For example, @l3ieberKingdom tweeted, "The black keys drummer said Justin didn't deserve a Grammy .....HE NEEDS A PUNCH IN THE FACE WITH A BRICK." Ouch.Fortunately for his sake, "the drummer" seems to be taking it all in stride, tweeting, "I need to be bare butt spanked." So, you tell us, are you backing the Black Keys or are you a true Belieber ... ?
