Last three acts advance to America's Got Talent finals Last three acts advance to America's Got Talent finals

The last three acts advanced to the America's Got Talent finals on Thursday's (06Sep12) episode, rounding out the top six hopefuls vying for the $1,000,000 show in Las Vegas. The preliminary rounds have wrapped up at last, and out of hundreds of contestants, the final three have been chosen by America. In another tight race, a few early frontrunners were pitted against each other on Wednesday's (05Sep12) performance episode, including glow-light dance group Lightwire Theater, soulful singer Tim Hockenberry, and BMX action team All Wheel Sports. But in the end, the top three as voted by viewers were young ballroom dancers The Untouchables, animal act Olate Dogs, and speed painters David Garibaldi and his CMYK's. They will join the other finalists - earth harpist William Close, comedian Tom Cotter, and sand artist Joe Castillo - in next Wednesday's (12Sep12) performance finals. Also taking the stage on Thursday was Grammy-winning band Train, who sang their hit song Drive By, and a surprise appearance by Twisted Sister's Dee Snider.
