The reclusive singer has become more famous for her financial and tax issues than her music in recent months, but the former Fugees star put aside her troubles and surprised the crowd by interrupting Nas' set at the PNC Bank Arts Center to revamp their 1996 collaboration "If I Ruled the World (Imagine That)."

The 37-year-old also performed a collection of her classic hits, including "Doo Wop (That Thing)" and "Lost Ones," and she later addressed her devotees, shouting, "Jersey! I have been gone for a long time but I'm back again. Love you. Miss you."
