Netflix Orders Thriller Series From 'Damages' Creators

Netflix is furthering its inroads into original programming with a series order from "Damages" creators Todd A. Kessler, Daniel Zelman and Glenn Kessler.

The series, which has received a 13-episode frst season order, centers on a family of adult siblings whose secrets and scars are revealed when their black sheep brother returns home.

Sony Pictures Television is producing the series, with production expected to begin early next year. Kessler, Zelman and Kessler will executive produce the series.

Netflix's vice president of original content Cindy Holland said that the company was "spellbound" by the concept for the series.

"We were spellbound after hearing Todd, Glenn and Daniel's pitch, and knew Netflix was the perfect home for this suspenseful family drama that is going to have viewers on the edge of their seats," Holland said. "Their work on 'Damages' was truly ahead of its time and we're proud to be bringing our viewers this upcoming series."
