President Barack Obama was supposed to address the Democratic National Convention outside, but the weather had other plans.

The original plan called for President Obama to speak to the Democratic faithful from Bank of America Stadium. In 2008, then-Senator Obama accepted his nomination outside in Denver's Invesco Field, an event the campaign seemed to want to evoke with its choice of venue at this year's convention.

Other speeches scheduled for Thursday night, which include remarks from Vice President Joe Biden, will also be moved inside.
