Ratings: 'Hotel Hell' Down in Finale; Fox Wins Night

The season finale of Gordon Ramsay's "Hotel Hell" took a ratings hit on Labor Day, but Fox still managed to emerge on top, according to preliminary numbers.

Fox took first place in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic with a 1.7 rating/5 share and second in total viewers with 4.4 million. A special airing of "Hotel Hell" at 8 p.m. drew a 1.8/5 in the demo -- the night's highest rating for an individual program -- and 4.5 million total viewers. The finale the following hour posted a 1.7/4 -- down 29 percent from the previous week -- and attracted 4.3 million total viewers.

CBS, which ran repeats throughout the night, took second place in ratings and first in total viewers with a 1.3/3 and 4.6 million.

ABC tied NBC for third in ratings with a 1.1/3 and took third outright in total viewers with 4 million. "Bachelor Pad" at 8 was up slightly from last week with a 1.4/4 and took 4.5 million total viewers. A "Castle" rerun followed.

NBC took fourth place in total viewers with 3.4 million. The finale of "Stars Earn Stripes" at 8 dipped slightly for a series low of 0.9/2 and drew 2.9 million total viewers. "Grimm" dropped 13 percent to a 1.4/4 and received 4.6 million total viewers.
