NBC's "Chicago Fire" spinoff, "Chicago P.D.," had a solid premiere at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, a few hours after CBS' "People's Choice Awards" hit a six-year ratings low.

The "PCA," however, earned its largest audience in four years.

"P.D." earned a 2.0 rating and 6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic at 10 p.m.

The "People's Choice Awards" at 9 p.m. had a 2.3/7 and 10.2 million viewers — the most eyeballs of the night.

More to come …
