**RTV** Christina Aguilera uses final steal on The Voice for Lady Gaga's former backup singer

6/13/2014

The Voice's final night of battle rounds concluded on Tuesday (23Oct12), as Christina Aguilera used her last steal to save Lady Gaga's former backup singer, Chevonne. The new steal option has proved to be a successful and popular addition to season three, as some of the contest's most talented singers have been saved from elimination. As each judge is given two steals, it was only Aguilera who was left with the option to steal from a fellow coach. During Cee Lo Green's final battle, he pitted two of his most powerful singers against each other, 16-year-old Avery Wilson and 26-year-old Chevonne to sing David Guetta's hit Titanium. While Chevonne's past experience on the stage showed, it was Wilson's pure and natural talent that convinced Green to keep him on his team. But Aguilera was quick to use her final steal on Chevonne, insisting that her amazing stage presence and dynamic performance was something special that she could not let walk away. Also continuing from Tuesday's battle rounds on are Adriana Louise from Team Christina and Michaela Page from Team Blake Shelton. The knockout rounds begin next Monday (29Oct12), as each of the coach's teams are cut in half to five singers.
