The Shortlist for Dec. 3

Slide 1 of 7

Katy Perry and John Mayer share album art portraitIn John Mayer's world, it's akin to shouting his love for Katy Perry from the highest mountain top: He posed with her on the cover of "Who You Love," the song they co-wrote and warble for his latest album, "Paradise Valley." "Proud of this song, proud of this artwork, proud of this girl," Mayer gushed on Instagram (a little condescendingly, at least to us). The moody, velvet-stuffed black-and-white shot was taken by famed photographer Mario Sorrenti, and features Katy curled around John as he broodingly strums his guitar. More pics, one of which features some playful PDA from the pair, are available over at Vanity Fair. Mayer added on his Tumblr, "And yes, we look like this at home pretty much all the time." Meanwhile, the on-off pair have attracted proposal rumors a-plenty, with insiders buzzing to Us Weekly that "it's just a matter of when." In the meantime, at least they're well on their way to a family photo album. Months before the "Who You Love" photo was revealed, Mayer told the Associated Press he's been focused on snapping keepsakes of his studio romance with Perry: "I remember handing a camera off to one of the guys in the studio, like, 'We need a picture of us at the board so when we get old and gray there's a picture of us looking cool making music in L.A.'"
