Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt don't want their kids to become actorsWith her striking "Maleficent" visage covering the new issue of Entertainment Weekly, Angelina Jolie's getting a jump start on promoting her new dark fantasy film -- which also features a performance by her daughter, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt. But the 4-year-old's appearance in the Disney flick won't set the stage for a life on the big screen if Angelina and Brad Pitt can avoid it."We think it's fun for our kids to have cameos and join us on set, but not to be actors. That's not our goal for Brad [Pitt] and I at all," Angelina tells EW (via Us). "But the other 3-and 4-year-old [performers] wouldn't come near me. It had to be a child that liked me and wasn't afraid of my horns and my eyes and my claws. So it had to be Viv."In fact, not even her own kids were all tough enough to handle seeing their mom look so spooky."When Pax saw me for the first time, he ran away and got upset -- and I thought he was kidding, so I was pretending to chase him until I actually found him crying," the actress says. "I had to take off pieces [of the makeup] in front of him to show him it was all fake and not freak out so much."After explaining to the kids that even bad characters possess good qualities that help us learn something about ourselves, Pax and Zahara got cameos, too."I had to walk by them being very mean," Angelina recalls of shooting the scene they were in. "Of course, I wanted to stop and wink at them."
