IT On Pace To Make Box Office History

The big screen adaptation of Stephen King’s IT is primed to become the highest-grossing R-rated horror movie of all time at the domestic box office, passing up The Exorcist. Now, following its $60 million gross at the domestic box office last weekend, IT is on its way to setting its biggest record yet. According to Deadline, the film will surpass the 1973 horror film classic The Exorcist at the domestic box office on Thursday when its projected to pass the $233 million threshold.
