This is 2018, and while we may not have flying cars yet, we do have a hot-dog-carrying jet pack flying through the sky at 100 miles per hour. Oscar Mayer's mission to get its new hot dogs into the hands of as many Americans as possible has led them to dream big, and send a man into the air (and back down again) to deliver some dogs. Go big or go home, right?

If your head is spinning into an Elon Musk-overlord-nightmare, let us explain. The hot dog brand has a Wienermobile fleet that consists of a giant hot-dog shaped car (the original Wienermobile), the Wienermini, the Wiener Rover, the Wienercycle (a Vespa of sorts) and the Wienerdrone. These yellow and red modes of transportation get hauled out to deliver free franks around the nation, and this summer, the JB10 JetPack is up to bat.

Oscar Mayer is hosting events in New York City and Chicago this summer where they will demo the JetPack and hand out free foods, including two of their newest products: the 100 percent all-ground-meat chicken and pork dogs.

"Consumers say they want recognizable and clean ingredients," Brand Manager Matt Riezman said. "We think these really deliver and the taste is out of this world." The new dogs are available in grocery stores now, along with the updated classic hot dog, now made without nitrates or artificial preservatives.
