Firstly: bacon and cheese. Secondly: flatbread. Thirdly: IN THE UK. Mmmm.

According to Metro and BurgerLad, the fancy not-your-average-Joe flatbread appeared on some breakfast menus in the Berkshire area, and is a cheesy delight to order as a breakfast side. One Twitter user Robert Brown took to his account to review the flatbread, commenting:

"My girlfriend @CharlieRivers and myself just tried the cheesy bacon flatbread at our local McDs in Bracknell... and I thought it was very nice. The bacon was streaky rather than the back bacon they normally have on the breakfast items. It did get lost somewhat amongst the cheese, but it was still good. Tasted a bit like a toasted cheese and ham panini.

"I don't think it's substantial enough to be a breakfast main, but at £1.49 it's a good option to have as an extra if you are hungry enough for more than just a regular breakfast."

"This new product went into test on the 8 March and we are really excited about following the feedback closely. Wider roll out will depend on the success of the trial and analysis of customer feedback and their appetites for it."
