For the past few years, Starbucks has been trying to get people to come into its stores in the afternoons and evenings by promoting beer, wine, and high-end foods as part of its “Evenings” program, but those fancy things are being cut next week. [reated]

Starbucks’ Evenings program served wine, craft beer, and food like truffle mac and cheese, bacon-wrapped dates, and other posh small plates. It debuted in 2010 and started appearing in stores nationwide in 2014. The fancy stuff could eventually be found in more than 400 Starbucks locations across the U.S., but the Seattle Times reports that as of January 10, they’ll be gone.

“This will allow the majority of our locations to focus on our core business,” Starbucks said in a statement.

Starbucks Roasteries and Starbucks Reserve stores will be selling beer, wine, and spirits, but no longer will people be able to buy Pinot Noir at their regular old Starbucks.
