Amazon's New Grocery Stores Are Already Hiring

In October, rumors surfaced that Amazon signed "more than a dozen leases" in the Los Angeles area. And that the leases were for a new chain of Amazon-branded grocery stores. The company refused to comment on the "rumors and speculation." It turns out that the rumors were exactly correct. Because Amazon officially announced plans to open its first grocery store in 2020, in Woodland Hills, California. Amazon posted four job listings for the new, unnamed grocery store. And it does appear certain that the new store will be separate from Whole Foods. More information will undoubtedly be forthcoming as the retail leader enters the huge grocery market.
