Boy with rare blood disease becomes deputy for a day

Four-year-old Omar’s wish of becoming a deputy for a day is coming true thanks to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office and the Make-A-Wish foundation. Omar was diagnosed with a rare blood disease when he was six months old. His family came to the U.S. from Pakistan to get him the weekly blood transfusions he needs to survive.
