Chick-fil-A Says It Will Cease Donations to Anti-LGBTQ Organizations

For the past several years, Chick-fil-A and controversy have been inseparable. Since 2012, they have been criticized for making financial donations to anti-LGBTQ organizations. Chick-fil-A recently announced it would no longer donate to two of those charities. The Fellowship of Christian Athletes has an anti-homosexuality policy for employees. And the Salvation Army previously opposed legal protection for members of the LGBTQ community. Despite the newly announced policy, LGBTQ activists say that the chain could still go further. Drew Anderson, GLAAD Protestors have recently made an impact at Chik-fil-A's international locations. Chick-fil-A didn't comment when asked if the protests impacted its charitable donations policy.
