The Steakhouse Goes Virtual
The Finishing Gourmet is a new virtual steakhouse in Los Angeles that plans to expand nationwide this year.It offers an elegant alternative to lukewarm to-go food you often end up microwaving. And you don't have to worry about the extensive prep that meal kits often require.Their steaks are perfectly cooked and calibrated so that you can finish them at home in five minutes or less.Deliveries even come with a branded knife, tongs, finishing salt, pepper, olive oil, herbs, and other accoutrements. And unlike at an actual steakhouse, you get to keep the steak knife and everything else when you're done. With the pandemic shifting our eating habits, you can expect to see more of these types of dinners in the future
