Video game designer creates game based on grandmother's WWII experience

Bob De Schutter has been designing video games since he was 8 years old. But sis most recent game, called Brukel, may be the most personal one he’s made. De Schutter designed Brukel based on his Grandma Bie’s traumatic experiences as in Belgium during WWII. "There were English soldiers and German soldiers slaughtering each other in her backyard, and she really couldn’t make sense of that at all," De Schutter said. "It was a very disturbing time for her."
