Bill protecting meatpacking plant workers from COVID-19 introduced in Legislature
A bill introduced by Sen. Tony Vargas, would require meatpacking plants to put protocols in place that would protect their workers from COVID. It would allow for random inspections of the plant, and fines for non-compliance.
