After Mark Wahlberg posted his grueling workout schedule to Instagram back in September, James Corden decided he wanted to see if he could keep up with strict regimen.
Spoiler alert: He can't.

On The Late Late Show Wednesday, Corden documented the experience for a segment of his show. The day began with a 2:30 a.m. wake-up call, followed by prayer time at 2:45. "I'm praying that he cancels," Corden said sleepily ahead of their workout.
"I've never seen these roads so quiet," he added on his drive to Wahlberg's house.
Despite Corden's shock that the dad of five actually begins his day this way, Wahlberg decided to stick to business. "The workout is going to suck, but you'll have a shake and some turkey burgers, and afterwards you'll feel great, and attack the rest of the day," the 47-year-old actor said.
"I'm going to go back to bed," Corden responded.
Wahlberg's positive outlook on such an early morning comes as no surprise to his Instagram followers. The actor has been sharing his fitness journey for years, and even launched his own line of supplements called Performance Inspired.

Corden to only get through Wahlberg's warm-ups, but the actor had a long day ahead of him after the late-night host left.
Wahlberg's schedule requires him to take a 90-minute shower, daily cryotherapy sessions, and second workout at 4 p.m. The day wraps up with an early 7:30 p.m. bedtime.
That's what you call dedication.
