  • Tracee Ellis Ross is looking super strong and super sculpted.
  • The 49-year-old Black-ish star just posted several behind-the-scenes clips from her Elle Mexico cover shoot on Instagram—and wow, her abs and legs are in killer shape!
  • Tracee, who swears by the Trace Anderson Method, also does some strength training to stay in shape. (Oh, plus yoga and Ballet Beautiful.)

Tracee Ellis Ross is on the December cover of Elle Mexico and she just dropped some truly amazing behind-the-scenes content from her photoshoot on Instagram.

In a series of pics and videos, the 49-year-old Black-ish star was working a fluffy Proenza Schouler coat layered over a black bra and matching underwear—paired with lacy black stockings and sky-high stilettos. Her abs and legs are on full display—and wow, she couldn't look more sculpted and toned.

“SHE SNUGGLY,” Tracee joked in the caption.

People were all over it in the comments section: “Legendary!!!,” wrote The Cut editor, Lindsay Peoples Wagner. “Ohhhhh kAeeeeeey!!!! 😍😮😮😮😮🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥,” singer Erykah Badu said.“😍😍,” actress Natasha Lyonne chimed.

But Tracee certainly didn’t get that cover-worthy muscle tone by accident: She’s been more than open about her love of the Tracy Anderson Method—a dance-based workout that gets your heart rate up while building all-over muscle tone. “I love that it changes all the time,” Tracee previously told Vibe. “I love that she really sculpts a workout for my body. I feel lean.”

Tracee regularly did Tracy Anderson classes remotely during the height of the pandemic and even shared little snapshots on Instagram with her followers:

Tracee is now back in the studio again—and she’s more than thrilled. Seriously: Just check out how stoked she is about this…

While the Tracy Anderson Method is no joke, Tracee also works with a trainer to get in some strength training. She posted this seriously impressive video of herself doing a sled push across the floor of her gym and whew. “I cannot,” she said at the end (although she did anyway), making it clear it was as hard as it looked.

Tracee even does workouts with celebrity trainer Jeanette Jenkins. “I love what she does and we often lift weights together,” Tracee told Vibe. But get this: Even with all that she does, she doesn’t stop there: “I’ll do the Santa Monica stairs. I’ll do some yoga. I also love Ballet Beautiful. Everyone can do that online," she said.

Whew!
