People often confuse her 22-year-old daughter for her sister.

At just 19, Jessica Enslow gave birth to her first child. Nearly 24 years later, this Utah native has given birth to six more children (yup, that makes seven!). All mothers know that pregnancy takes a toll on your body. Once the post-birth high wears off, the weight loss struggle kicks in - and Enslow had her fair share of ups and downs.

The ship has sailed ⛵️ on a 2018 New Year’s post for me, 🤷🏻‍♀️ but I’ll spare you my year in review, as I’m sure we’ve all seen at least 200-300 years worth of people’s lives in the past few days! 😂 And so here we find ourselves on a #transformationtuesday & yes, I know I’m 9 months pregnant & in labor with @codyenslow on the left, but as I’ve said before, anyone who thinks pregnancy transformations don’t count probably has never given birth! Not only do you often gain some extra fat, but a woman’s uterus stretches to 500 times it’s normal size, and then returns to its normal size within about a month! Yes, our bodies are so resilient, especially when we take care of them. I’ve realized that if you find something you love, you’re more likely to stick with it! I now know I pretty much hate plyometrics & running, but I love #weighttraining & #cardio on the elliptical. I’m done following the trends & fads that come & go. Thanks to @shaneheugly I know that any form of cardio will work & luckily for me, weight lifting will help sculpt & shape your physique nicely. 👌🏼 Here’s to achieving our goals in 2018! Happy New Year friends! 🎉♥️ • • • • • • #fatloss #fitnessjourney #fitmums #fitmamas #fitmoms #transformations #weightlosstips #trainlikeagirl #loveyourselfmore #abworkout #armworkout #fitspo #utahfitfam #utah #utahfitness #howtoloseweight #antiaging #postpartum #countingmacros #momswholift #momlife #pregnantlife #beachbody #bikinibody #glowup #bodyafterbaby #girlsgonesporty

After giving birth to her youngest child in 2013, Enslow slowly but surely realized that she couldn't let her fluctuating weight define her life. "I literally got home from the hospital and immediately put on my pre-pregnancy jeans only to find they wouldn't go any farther than mid-thigh," she told Daily Mail. "This is when extreme fear and a little depression set in."

Although she tried her fair share of diets and cardio blasts, it wasn't until early 2017 that she decided that her life needed an overhaul.

By following intuitive eating, Enslow trained herself to be more mindful when eating and focus on when she starts to feel full. She put down the Nutella (her old fave!) and swapped it for a plate full of protein and healthy carbs, including oatmeal, fruit, and whole grain bread.

And snacking, well that's a thing of the past. If she's really craving something, she'll feed into it but she tries to take the healthier route by munching on jerky or protein chips.

Beyond her diet, Enslow has completely changed her fitness regime. Once a cardio bunny, she's now a proud weight lifter. Even though she doesn't always make it to the gym as often as she'd like, Enslow typically fits in four or five leg exercises and one glute exercise to add strength to her lower half a couple times a week, according to an Instagram post.

Finding balance - and time - is still an ongoing struggle. "My hubby and I have it set up where 3 days a week we go while they [the children] are all in school. I do cardio before anyone is awake on Mondays. We plan on going on Saturdays and will have an older child help out for a bit," she said in an Instagram post. "It's been an adjustment for us, but it's working really well for now."

Having her husband by her side has helped her reach her goals - and ultimately get in killer shape. To Enslow, it's important that she keeps her long-term goals in mind but stays flexible with how she approaches them. By leaning on to her husband and older children for support, she's able to get there.

When she starts to feel down about her rescheduled workouts (or lack thereof), she gets a much-needed confidence boost from her Instagram following. When she posts photos with her oldest daughter, many people mistake them for sisters. That's every mother's dream, right?!

Her Instagram and YouTube channel have touched the lives of women everywhere. Enslow encourages other moms to "just stay consistent and if you fall off the wagon, just brush it off and get back at it as soon as you are able."
