Vaccine for kids could be coming ‘sometime in November,’ doctor says
Joining TODAY to comment on the FDA reviewing authorization of Pfizer’s vaccine for children 5-11, Dr. Richard Besser, former acting head of the CDC, says he’s “cautiously optimistic” about it. “This could change the trajectory for some families” going into the holidays, he says: “This winter could be a lot different than the last few months have been.”
