New COVID-19 strain now found in California as well as Colorado
The start of the new year is likely to bring even darker days in many parts of the country as overwhelmed hospitals run dangerously low on supplies, staff and morale. On top of that, it appears the U.K. variant strain of the coronavirus has been found in Southern California. NBC’s Meagan Fitzgerald reports for TODAY from Los Angeles.
