Honor Bus will take Kern veterans to traveling Vietnam Memorial
We've heard about Honor Flight, which takes veterans to Washington D.C. to visit war memorials, but not everyone can make that trip. Next month, the first-ever Kern County Honor Bus will take veterans to see the replica Vietnam Wall Memorial visiting San Luis Obispo. This trip happens as we observe the 50th anniversary of the removal of U.S. combat troops from Vietnam.
