In the worldwide search for donors with an extremely rare blood type, there may be one promising lead. Zainab Mughal has an aggressive form of neuroblastoma. She has a very rare blood type that has made it difficult for her to find a suitable match. A New York woman who had been saving blood in case of complications with her own pregnancy made the possibly life-saving donation.
