Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez has continued to make waves since its debut in September 2020. With each new product drop, the brand has grown into a complete line of unique makeup essentials — from weightless foundations to bold eyeshadows — all wrapped up in aesthetically pleasing packaging. Not to mention, the uplifting, inclusive messaging has given the brand a special touch that shows Selena's involvement every step of the way.

So when I got an opportunity to try Rare Beauty's newest Stay Vulnerable Melting Cream Blushes, it was no surprise that they quickly became my latest makeup obsession.

All five of the pigmented colors, which range from true pinks to a deeper berry shade, melt seamlessly into the skin. Their weightless finish gives a barely-there feel, yet the color payoff is astounding. You can easily stop at one layer for a natural flush, or continue building up the blush for more intense color. They're so simple to apply that the brand has dubbed them "mistake-proof" for beauty lovers and beginners alike.

The non-greasy, water-resistant formula is a great option for those (like me) who sometimes struggle with cream blush due to oily skin. It blends across the cheeks to create a smooth finish that stays put without creasing or clogging pores. In fact, the blush has yet to cause any breakouts on my sensitive skin.

I've always opted for powder-based blush since it tends to last longer and doesn't slip off my cheeks after a few hours of wear. But I now realize I was after the silky, non-cakey finish only a cream blush can provide, and with this one from Rare Beauty, I finally feel like I struck gold on the perfect formula. After hours have passed by, I can rest assured knowing the pigmentation still looks as fresh as when I first applied.

You can shop all five of the Stay Vulnerable Melting Cream Blushes for just $21 each at Sephora
