Baby names for 2018 may just be the most unique yet. For the year ahead, expect to see names that skew toward the gender neutral, and some that are even a hybrid of cultural figures and classical names-the likes fictional characters as well as royals. There's also a trend toward the nostalgic, with older names (you know, the three-syllable kind) making the cut. Baby naming site Names.org shared that Olivia, Emma, Ava, Charlotte, and Mia were the most popular picks for girls while Noah, Liam, Benjamin, Oliver, and William topped the list for boys. The website BabyGaga.com also analyzed baby name data from the past year in order to make their top 20 name predictions for 2018. Here's what they came up with.
