Everything You Need to Know About Ajuga
Ajuga, also known as carpetweed or bugleweed, is a vigorous perennial that’s often used as a ground cover due to its striking foliage and expansive, creeping nature. It’s a very low-maintenance plant that can handle all levels of light, from full sun to complete shade, in addition to being drought tolerant. Plus, its low, dense leaves help shade out weeds and even produce little spikes of flowers in the spring. This video breaks down everything else you need to know about ajuga, including three favorite varieties ranging in color from green to burgundy.
