Consequences Family With Abusive 11-Year-Old Might Face If They Don’t Get His Behavior Under Control
Anna and her adult children, Marcus and Makayla, say they live in fear of her 11-year-old son, Xavier. They say the boy verbally and physically abuses them, and they fear that he could seriously injure Anna’s 5-year-old daughter or Makayla’s 2-year-old and 9-month-old children. Anna says she fears that her only option is to reverse Xavier’s adoption and give him back. Dr. Phil, along with Dr. Charles Sophy, psychiatrist and retired medical director for the County of Los Angeles Children and Family Services, tell the family that they must take action or they could lose all their children. Hear their advice in the video above. On Wednesday’s episode, hear more about Xavier’s behavior. And, Xavier shares his thoughts. Does he like acting like he does? Watch more here.
