‘Dr. Phil Classic’: Couple Describes Finances As A ‘Vicious Beast’
Dr. Phil hits the rewind button all the way back to season one in a classic episode with a topic that’s still relevant today. “’Dr. Phil’: Living Beyond Your Means” examines the lives and finances of several couples to show how day-to-day decisions can lead to living beyond our means - emotionally, physically and financially. In season one, Ed and Ginger had two kids, three dogs, two cats, two cars, one lizard, a big house – and lots of debt. Describing their finances as “a vicious beast,” the couple filed for bankruptcy shortly before meeting Dr. Phil. “The hardest thing to do is to admit that what you’re doing is not working and that you’re willing to change it,” Dr. Phil tells Ed and Ginger, setting the couple on a path to re-engineering their life. Did it work? Tune in to Friday’s episode, “’Dr. Phil’: Living Beyond Your Means” to find out how Ed, Ginger, and their kids are doing today! Check here for your local listing. TELL DR.
