‘I Didn’t Lie,’ Says Man To Sister Who Accuses Him Of Falsifying Testimony Against Her

“I would like to mend my relationship with my sister, Patricia,” says Ishmael. “She blames me for her going to prison.” In 1998, Patricia was convicted of murdering her ex-husband, Jerome Scott, 16 years after the crime was committed and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. She and other family members claim it was because Ishmael gave false information and testimony to the police, placing her at the murder scene, which Ishmael adamantly denies. “I didn’t write a statement; it was recorded,” Ishmael says. “The impression that I got from the detective was it wasn’t implicating my sister because I felt she did nothing wrong.” If Ishmael had it to do over again, would he have spoken to police? Hear his thoughts in the video above. And, Patricia, who was released on compassionate grounds in July 2020, confronts her brother after not seeing him for more than 20 years. On Tuesday’s episode of Dr. Phil, emotions get heated as Patricia and Ishmael face off. And on Wednesday, Dr. Phil continues to unravel the story. Plus, Patricia’s grandson, Suge Knight Jr., the son of former Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight, says he stands by his grandmother. Check here to see where you can tune in. TELL DR.
