The Bubble Over My Head: ‘There’s More Going On Here Than Meets The Eye’

Jonelle’s mother, Jennifer, says her 13-year-old daughter, Jonelle, has been verbally and physically assaulting family members for years but claims the behaviors have escalated since her father died unexpectedly last year. Jonelle’s 19-year-old sister, Chloe, says Jonelle’s angry attacks have left her in tears, and her oldest sister, Makenzie, says that despite being Jonelle’s favorite, even she is not immune to her youngest sister’s rage. Jonelle admits her behaviors are out of control. She says she doesn’t want to live this way anymore but claims she isn’t able to control herself. “Things often happen for other than the apparent reasons,” Dr. Phil tells the audience in The Bubble Over My Head. “This isn’t just a yelling, screaming child.
