A Cleveland Couple Channeled the Obamas for their Engagement Photos

The Obamas had been relationship #goals since they first entered the political world together, but their public love affair became an international phenomenon once they were the First Couple.

And now, one Cleveland couple has channeled the Obamas' spirit ... quite literally, with an engagement shoot that references some of the former First Couple's most iconic portraits:

Photographer Natasha Herbert shared the photos of clients Cassi and Adam's shoot on her Instagram, and the results are picture perfect.

The first shot in Herbert's slideshow is from an Essence photoshoot, and the magazine reached out to Herbert about how this glorious idea came about. Turns out, she was the one who told them to really go for it:

"When our Bride and Groom said 'Can we try and duplicate one of their famous shots for our engagement pics?' I was like let's do an entire shoot - we can do this and this and THIS!"

From the items of clothing to the joyful faces on Adam and Cassi's faces to the poses, this entire engagement shoot is a touching homage to a memorably in love First Couple, and to their clearly creative and loving relationship too.
