U.S. shoots down suspected Chinese spy balloon off South Carolina coast
U.S. officials confirmed to CBS News that a suspected Chinese spy balloon, which was discovered flying over the mainland U.S. this week, was shot down off the coast of South Carolina Saturday by U.S. fighter jets. CBS News national security correspondent David Martin has more.
