The Company is a community-oriented financial institution offering traditional deposit and loan products and investment management and trust services. Through ...morea wholly-owned subsidiary, Northwest Consumer Discount Company, it also offers consumer finance loans. Its main business consists of attracting deposits from the general public and the business community and making loans secured by various types of collateral, including real estate and other consumer assets in the markets in which it operate. Attracting and maintaining deposits is affected by a number of factors, including interest rates paid on competing investments offered by other financial and non-financial institutions, account maturities, fee structures, and levels...more of personal income and savings. Sources of funds for lending activities include deposits, borrowings, repayments on loans, cash flows from investment securities and income provided from operations.
